What Causes Pain In The Face?
Tooth infection, neuralgia, orthopantomograph, medication
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the pain in the face is concerned it can be because of the tooth infection. If it is a trigeminal neuralgia you will get a shock like of severe pain, even a touch can aggravate pain. So consult a good oral physician and get it evaluated to rule out whether the pain is from tooth infection or neuralgia. If possible get a radiograph like orthopantomograph done so that I can give you a better diagnosis. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole combination( if you are not allergic ). If the pain is of tooth infection, you will feel better with these medicines. I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back. Take care
Temporomandibular joint disorder, orthopantomograph
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply. If there is no tooth infection then get your temporomandibular joint checked once. The disc disorders of the joint can result in pain along the side of the face. To rule out all these get a screening radiograph like orthopantomograph so that we will get some information based on that we can come to a conclusion and decide what can be done. The pain might come down now but if it comes back again then again you will have problem. So we need to find out the cause and treat that. Get the radiograph done and upload the images.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
