What Causes Pain In The Heel?

default
Posted on Thu, 1 Jun 2017
Question: I have terrible heel pain. I have not fallen. I do walk everyday. My pain is just under the heel. I've been trying to stretch the back of my heel by gently pulling my toes up toward my leg. It helps a little. but I can barely put weight on my heel.

Brief Answer:
Get serum uric acid levels done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

Pain in heels may be due prolong standing, walking, hard and high heels, increase uric acid levels etc.

So I advise you to have serum uric acid levels done and send me the report.

Till then have tab.aceclofenac100mg+serratiopeptidase15mg thrice a day, by prescription of your family doctor.

Avoid prolong standing, hard and high heels if you are wearing it.

Wear sports shoes as they have soft sole, you can use silicon pad in shoes if have to stand or walk for prolong time.

Silicon pads are available in market or online also.

Keep on doing stretching exercises, these will help you a lot.

I hope you got the point.

Thanks,
