MY JAW AND THROAT HURT ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE WHEN I YAWN OR HAVE TO OPEN MY MOUTH WIDE
WHY WOULD THIS HAPPEN?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you have reported. It is but normal that when tissues and muscles are that stretched, we feel pain. It simply means that the muscles are no longer as elastic as they were growing up and this is not something unexpected. There is really no reason seeing an ENT for this unless there are some other symptoms that you have reported to me. There is really nothing to worry about and I will like that you keep me posted after visiting your doctor.
