What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of Chest Covering The Left Arm?

I had a surgery on my servics a month and a half ago and got a hemorage twice 2-3 weeks after the surgery and have been recovering slowly since then. Few days ago I started getting short but accute heart pain in the evening, but tonight it started over hour and a half ago and it has spread to the left side of the chest, neck and forehead while my left arm feels really week, what could be causing this? Could it it be a blood cloth? It feels a bit like the pain is travelling up and down a bit. By the way, I'm 27, active and healthy, so shouldn't be having heart problems
Thank you again

Can be a cardiac pain.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Having pain in the left side of your chest covering the left arm can be due to cardiac problem like ischemia even if your blood pressure and other parameters are normal. It can be due to a blood clot also.
Although heart attack is unlikely to develop at a young age like yours still it would be better to get the following investigations done to rule out cardiac related problems.
1. Troponin -T and CPK-MB
2. ECG in all leads with a rhythm strip in lead 2
3. Echocardiography
4. Tread mill test
5. Thallium scan (Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy)
The other possibilities that need to be ruled out with the help of your physician are muscular pain, GERD, Pleuritis, etc.
It is important to find out the exact cause after physical examination and investigations. Hence, please see your Primary Doctor for complete examination and the treatment would follow according.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
