What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of The Throat?

Question: hello doctor,
im 29 years male, actually im getting throat pain frequently I think I had put a query in this platform around a month back for the same problem. At that time here a doctor prescribed cefixme 200 with anticold tablet for five days. I finished the course and it was fine til then. I got viral fever as soon as the fever came down I developed throat infection with difficulty in swallowing and burning sensation while having food. The pain is only on the left side of my throat. pls suggest...here is the attachment of my throat picture...

Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
I have seen the attached picture,you are having Pharyngitis. As you are having recurrent episodes, you should get a x-ray paranasal sinuses done and throat swab for culture sensitivity done.
The test results can be altered with antibiotics. So take antibiotics only once you give the sample.
For now start taking tablet diclofenac plus serratiopeptidase twice daily.
tablet levocetrizine plus montelukast once daily and hexidine gargles.
Please tell me if you don't want to go for test so that I can prescribe you antibiotics.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available at prescription only.

You can take tablet amoxicillin plus clavulunic acid 625 mg twice daily for 5 days.
You need a prescription for the prescribed medicines.

Stop augmentin..you might be allergic to amoxicillin. Take levocetrizine for allergy. Instead of augmentin take azithromycin 500 once daily for 5 day.
keep in mind for future too that you are allergic to amoxicillin and tell anyone who prescribes it.
