What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

Question: I have a pain in my lower abdomen. Regular bowel movements. Started about three days ago. Sometimes low pain, some times more. Lying on my back makes it better. Maybe slight fever
Brief Answer:
SUpportive care, likely muscle pain
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in lower abdomen relieved by lying down with normal bowel habits is likely muscle spasm of lower abdominal wall muscles. Just take some skelaxin and tylenol. Wait and see. I am pretty sure the symptoms will resolve. if these keep coming and you develop some related to bowel or bladder, we will consider it for work up and further management. Till now, rest with few tylenol medications will be enough.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
