What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

Question: Recently I have been experiencing some very mild aching in my lower stomach and pelvic region, it is not majorly painful but I'm aware of it, I'm not sure what it is, I'm now in a new relationship and am not on any form of contraception just yet. I'm wondering whether it could be related to sex or is it a muscular thing?

Thank you for your reply was just wondering as I have been having unprotected sex on a few occasions whether these pains may indicate possible pregnancy or an STD
Brief Answer:
Do a vaginal swab
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again!
If you fear for possible STD then it's better to do a vaginal swab for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.
While if you have doubt if you have conceived , you should wait minimally 10 to 12 days after unprotected intercourse to take an urine pregnancy test at home.
Regards
