As detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/63 - pain on left side - 3 weeks - started in lower back - very painful especially on taking deep breath - you thought of bladder infection - went to Doctor - put on medicines - checked the urine - no relief even after 2 days - 2 visits to Chiropractor - no relief - pain went to back on left side - wants to know thoughts...
Please give additional information:
- Do you have any urinary symptoms?
- Reports of the urine and blood please.
- Any bowel related symptoms like constipation or loose stools, nausea, vomiting, bloating or so?
- Does bending or movement of the back increase the pain?
- Is there any morning stiffness?
- Or does the pain increase as the day passes on?
As per the history you have provided, this looks to be related to the back,. may be muscle spasm or inflammation of the sacroiiliac joint or so.
I would advise you the following:
Clinical evaluation by a Specialist, may be a General Surgeon for clinical examination, advise you the further tests of urine, stool, to review the blood reports that you have sent today. To get the further tests of ultrasonography of the abdomen, X-ray/MRI of the back/spine as per the clinical findings. Increase in pain on taking deep breath indicate this.
Bed rest and avoid anything that instigate or enhance your pain.
Take advised medicines properly.
All these things are needed as you have a pain of approximate 3 weeks.
I hope this answers your query.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
