What Causes Pain In The Right Armpit?
Question: I experience cyclical breast pain for approximately 2 weeks or so a month. Upon my having my period the pain subsides. I also have pain in, what feels like tissue, my right armpit. My right armpit is an area that feel thicker and painful and the pain mimics and goes along the same cycle as the breast pain. Is the armpit area cause for concern?

The area in right armpit that you feel thicker and pain mimics like that of breast is basically the breast tissue and called as axillary tail hence will behave the same as rest of the breast/s.
So no worry.
This can be confirmed by Ultrasonography.
Since the breast pain and tenderness started with the starting of birth control pills, it is certainly due to the hormonal changes that the pills cause and if you have option for another type of birth control, it will be better to change over.
