What Causes Pain In The Right Foot?
Question: I have sudden pain in the dorsum of my right foot .. .duration about a week. First noticed when lacing that foot with my ASICS walking shoe. The dorsum feels slightly more prominent on my right foot than my left.
Brief Answer:
Stress fracture
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand your concern. This sounds like a stress fracture, which is a thin hairline fracture in the foot bones, caused by excessive walking, running, bone thinning (osteoporosis) sometimes happens without a clear cause.
I recommend you have an x ray as a first step and if it doesn’t show anything then I recommend you see a podiatrist.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Wishing you good health and all the best.
