Right testicle, no trauma, the pain started a few days ago.. the right one is slightly bigger and it is sensitive to touch. No frequent urination
Brief Answer:
epididymo-orchitis...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As per your symptoms and the information that you've provided, it correlates with epididymo-orchitis (inflammation/infection of the testes and the epididymis)
There are a lot of reasons for a person to have orchiepididymitis but the main reasons are urinary tract infection (UTI), urethritis or prostatitis.
If I're your caring doctor i would recommend a urine routine microscopy and culture sensitivity analysis and an ultrasound of your testicles. Urine test will show us if there are any abnormalities or signs of infection. The ultrasound will rule out any other problem with the testicle, like torsion etc.
Also you need to consult a specialist i.e. urologist because he needs to do a physical examination of your right testicle. If diagnosis is confirmed then he may start antibiotics and pain relievers.
Meanwhile here are some advice to help with the pain and the healing process--
-rest in bed
-have plenty of liquids
-no spicy foot,or fried foods
-no alcohol
-put a towel under your scrotum (testicles) . This way blood will drain easier from the veins
-you can use Ibuprofen (Motrin 400mg thrice daily after food for next 2-3 days) for the pain
If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
Wishing you good health.
