Brief Answer:
Possible sir, but other conditions also possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. There are actually quite a few causes for a presentation similar to yours, and so to confirm the cause we will have to conduct a urine examination and also test you for a few infection-specific investigations to rule out sexually transmitted diseases.

But for now, without any investigations and based purely on the symptoms you are experiencing we can suspect the following:
-Orchitis: Inflammation of the testicle(s)
-Prostate abnormalities
-Sexually transmitted infections
-Urinary tract infection

If at all you have a positive history of recent sexual contact with an individual who is not your partner, then it is best you report to a doctor for the above suggested investigations sir. We will have to make a diagnosis in order to adequately address your problem, and provide you with complete relief.

I hope you find my response helpful sir. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.

I have had a normal urine test done by my gp and this was clear ie there was no sign of blood in my urine so would u recommend a std check ? The only sexual in counter since my last negative is one case of unprotected oral in which I did not ejaculate . Also I have had some pain in my abdomen

Brief Answer:
STD panel and ultrasound would be wise sir

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

A clear urine analysis is not always specific enough to rule out an STD, and no sign of blood in the urine is once again not enough to rule out an STD.

Although unprotected oral sexual contact does not always result in the transmission of infections, your symptoms warrant those infections to be ruled out. Along with a complete STD panel I would also recommend an ultrasound of your abdomen and pelvic to rule out non-infective causes sir. These investigations should suffice to find the cause for your symptoms.

I hope and wish you do not have anything serious and that your symptoms are due to something simple. Please do not hesitate to write back to me anytime, for any further clarifications. I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
