What Causes Pain On Lower Right Side Behind Rib Cage?

Question: Pain on lower right side behind rib cage. A squeezing pain. Had appendices out already years ago. Haven't felt good in a week with a lost appetite. Maybe lost a couple pounds. 42 yr old male good shape otherwise healthy

Is your pain related to intake of food?
Is your pain moves down to groin region?
Is it aggravates by taking deep breath?

With your history I can think of 2 possible causes one gallbladder problem and other one kidney problem.

If a patient comes to me with these symptoms first I would like to get complete history and examination and few test depending on examination findings.
You may need to get ultrasound abdomen and Renal function test.

No to all the questions. It just squeezes on lower right side behind rib cage and partially stomach. It like someone is squeezing something inside of me.
