What Causes Pain On Right Side Of Upper Abdomen After Every Meal?
Question: has pain on right side of upper Abdomen every time after her meal, she also discomfort on her front head, she did ultra sound, gastroscope, and xray, says everything is normal. Has really bad breath. Every medication she took, like nexium, herbal teas ,etc are not working. it's been 8 month already. lately her right eyelid starts to swelling and she feels weak. every thing, no matter, veggie or meat, even water cause pain.

I read carefully all her concerns and I can say as follows:
1.She has right side pain after meal and bad breath. On the other hand she has done ultrasound, x-ray, gastroscopy and everything Is normal.
To my opinion her symptoms may be related with:
- gallbladder/pancreatic issues
- large bowel issue( I would like to know if she has bowel movement changes)
2. This is why at her situation I would recommend to continue investigation for the diagnosis with :
- MRCP/Ct scan to better evaluate gallbladder issues and pancreas too.
- colonoscopy to evaluate large bowel.
3.Meantime I would suggest to use antispasmodic drugs mebevedrine or butyscopolamine. Continue to use PPI's like Nexium.
Please discuss with your physician about the exams that I have recommended .
