What Causes Pain Over The Penile Area?

default
Posted on Fri, 13 Jun 2014
Question: I have what feels like a pinch on the left side of my penis, near the ridge of the head. I have been tested and am STD free, no trichomoniasis, no UTI. I am in constant pain for the last couple of months because of this and it is effecting me mentally. I am 28 if that helps. There is no signs of a rash or anything. I tried lotion, hydrocortizone, Lotrimin jock itch, petroleum jelly. Nothing helps at all, I am constantly in pain.

1) How did it start? I have no idea, it was just there one day.

I assumed it was dry skin

2) Do you have presently or history of psoriasis lesions on genitalia also?

No, never. It shows no signs of any rash at all on the area mentioned

3) You said, you have constant pain. Is the pain continuous or intermittent ?

It is pretty much always there, sometimes worse than other times

4) Any aggravating or relieving factor?

None that I can think of. At first I felt like hydrocortisone cream helped, but within minutes I felt the pinch again.

5) History of any ulcer ever?

No

6) any history of trauma or violent sex?

No. I also have not been sexually active in a few months, which is why this is extra strange to me.

It is more on the surface kind of pain, but there is no sign of rash or anything. I want to see a urologist but I am desperate and it takes weeks to get in for an appointment.

Possibility of stone should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
welcome again.

Since there is no rash and pain is present, that is why the possibility of stone should be ruled out.

You do not worry for it. Try to get an appointment at the earliest.
