What Causes Pain Under Rib Cage While Breathing?

Question: Hello,
I realized recently that if I slouch down and breathe in hard I sometimes feel something "pop" in and out of place underneath of my right rib cage. It doesn't happen everytime but I have health anxiety and think the worse. I went to the doctor and she believed it was muscular. It is not painful. I have gained about 35 pounds in the past year so I wasn't sure if it was related to weight gain. I have also noticed that I have back pain on the right side slightly to the right of my spine at times near the middle of my back. I have read too many things on the internet and am worried that something bad is wrong with me.

Brief Answer:
Get ultrasound abdomen done for liver/gall bladder
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. From whatever small information I have,my suggestion would be to get ultrasound done to look for liver and gall bladder disease,as they have presentation like this.
Regarding weight gain,I would advise to go for thyroid hormone test done. To help you better please tell me -do you have indigestion, heart burn or food regurgitation?
Are you able to sleep properly?
Half knowledge is dangerous, so do not get carried away by internet information.
Looking forward to your reply.
Take care
