What Causes Pain Under Ribcage?

Question: I have severe pains under my rib cage and know that I have polyps in my gallbladder. My past doctor would not do a thing and when i tried to advocate for myself I was told that I have psychosis and the police department were called. When I went to talk to a psych doctor I was told that I was fine and the doctor was not licensed as a psych doctor. I am trying to figure out how to advocate for myself and having a doctor listen without having to talk to the office manager. The psychosis diagnosis was removed from my chart. However I am still in pain and i am starting to loose feeling in my toes and fingertips, I also have a tingling between my shoulder blades on an almost daily basis. What tests would you recommend to run so that I know how to advocate for myself without sounding illiterate?

I think, you have multiple somatic complaints and in that case, you should get your all basic investigations done. First go for routine tests like hemogram, serum electrolyte, renal function test, liver function test, thyroid function test, chest x-ray and ECG. If all these tests come normal, then go for specific test like ANA, R-factor, hormonal assays, C-reactive protein, nerve conduction study etc. Choice of tests would depend upon diagnosis, so better to consult a physician and in case, you need further help, you can ask.
