What Causes Pain Under Ribs After Eating?

Question: Having pain under rib blot short of breath after eating and hard bowl movements and sometimes nausea Taking Pantopazile 40mg for acid in stomach and chest wall. Pain will come and go. What can I do?

I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
After reading your symptoms I came to the conclusion that you must be having acidity problem.You said you are taking pantoprazole but by which route you are taking. I will suggest you to take pantoprazole intravenous infusion for a week at near by primary care and followed by oral route treatment it has given me nice effects.
Also If this problem is recurrent I will further advice you to undergo endoscopy to rule out any Gastrointestinal ulcers if at all you have.
Few lifestyle modifications like stop smoking,drinking and eating healthy non spicy diet will also help you.

Have been taking pantoprazole by mouth for two week one before meal at night. Had Uper GI two year ago found irritation in esophagus . May need to go back to my gastrologist ? If ulcer can it effect you breathing? Thanks for you help.

Started off having acids burning pain in chest that hart right in-between l center lower chest traveling up center of chest belching after meals a lot . Problem has gone some but right side under rib fills like something is still there just pain with blot after eating. Intravenous pantoprazole the same as pantoprazole 40mg I am taking? What is immense retrostenal burning after meals? Is it what I am talking about? Thank again.

Retrosternal burning is exactly what you are complaining now. Pantoprazole for intravenous administration comes in a vial which you have to dilute in intravenous fluid like Normal saline.
