Brief Answer:
It's due to Post menopausal progressive bone loss

Detailed Answer:
Welcome, Dear XXXX!

I can well understand your concerns and I am happy to answer you an explanation of the disease process which you are facing right now.
Menopause leads to decreased hormones of the female (estrogen and progesterone mainly). It leads to decreased bone mass progressively with time. Bones resorb and become week. Thats why, when you give even a little movement to your arms and hands it hurts the week bone.
You may consult an endocrinologist who may start a Hormone replacement therapy for you. It benefits a lot of women in your age group who have bone weakness.
If I start a woman on Hormone Replacement therapy, I prescribe Estrogen and Progestogen to be taken in combination, daily.
But these are prescription drugs so please consult an endocrinologist to get a prescription.

Have a nice time. If you have any issues/doubts, please feel free to ask me anytime as per your ease.

Regards!
