Brief Answer:
urinary tract infection

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Blood in the urine with frequency and discomfort usually indicate an urinary tract infection.
Urinary tract infections can involve any aspect of the urinary tract -bladder, ureter, kidneys, urethra, prostate

It may be best to discontinue the ibuprofen since this family of medications have a risk of bleeding in some persons.

To determine if you do have an infection , you would need to be assessed by your doctor.
This would include physical examination and urinalysis at the office.

You doctor may want to send a sample to the lab so that he or she may get an idea of the exact bacteria that is present.

You would need a course of antibiotics and to drink a copious amount of fluids as well.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
should be seen sooner rather than later

Detailed Answer:
HI

Sorry about the delayed reply

It would be best to be seen sooner rather than later, before monday.

A simply uti is usually not considered an emergency but in some cases, rarely, it can become complicated, involving the kidneys.

Early use of antibiotics would likely prevent this
