Brief Answer:
Specialist opinion required.Thorough examination and investigation required

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the details. Most often bloody diarrhoea is caused due to certain bacterial infections of the intestine. Such infections usually need treatment with antibiotics. But in the case of your grandson, since he is a cancer survivor and liver transplant recipient, there could be other causes that could cause gastrointestinal bleeding and need thorough evaluation and investigation. You need to see a gastroenterologist and get a surgical opinion as well. ER doctors might not be equipped enough to deal specifically with the case of your grandson.

In the meantime give him ORS (oral rehydration solution) and plenty of fluids to drink.

Hope that helps.
