"Umbilical hernia" : protrusion of the intestine from the belly button area
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
Welcome back and thanks for your follow up with details and picture.
After analysing the history of evolution of the swelling and the picture I can get that you might have "Umbilical hernia" or simply saying protrusion of the intestine from the belly button area.
It is quite commonly seen and more specifically after applying pressure during defecation or lifting of weight.
Do not try to pinch or pop the area of belly button as it may puncture the intestine and can cause complications.
I suggest you to meet a surgeon to get it diagnosed properly and get earliest treatment for it.
Till that time I suggest you to not to apply too much pressure during defecation. DO not lift any weight. Eat light food which is easily digestible and avoid constipation.
I hope this information will help you. I will be glad to guide you any further.
With regards,
Dr Sanjay Kanodia
