What Causes Painful Intercourse In An Elderly Person?
Question: Recently, I have had a very noticeable change in my orgasms--they are more sharp, bordering on painful. I'm 70 years old female! I guess wondering if that could be indicative of something going on in my abdomin.

In view of your age ,iam sure you would have had enough evaluation like ultrasound scan,gynaec check up with periodic pap smear and general medical evaluation.
It is possible to feel very dry due to lack of lubrication in view of deficient estrogen hormone.vaginal skin also can be very thin and sore at times.
IF you have not done a check up recently ,get a gynaec check up with ultrasound scan and speculam examination.
If everything is normal,estrogen vaginal creams are available and can be used with gynaecologists advice.

So we have already handled the dryness issue, good on that front. About 5-6 weeks ago suddenly my orgasms changed to this more sharp , bordering on painful ones(although I'm not planning to stop, unless you think it's a problem)probably five or six in that month and a half's time.
