Question : Hi,
I have been suffering from blocked nose since last 24hrs. One of the nostril pains and it seems like there are couple of boils inside but arent quite evident from outside.
Any quick remedy?

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

I see similar cases amongst young people who visit my clinic, one day old nasal block with painful lesion could be due to-

The First possibility is furuncle.

The Second possibility is septal hematoma.

The third possibility is turbinate hypertrophy due to allergic rhinitis or vasomotor rhinitis.

I suggest you to to consult ENT surgeon and get detailed ENT examination, if necessary diagnostic nasal endoscopy.

You require oral antibiotics and nasal drops. Type, strength and dosage will be decided by your treating surgeon.

Start steam inhalation for now and avoid picking your nose or removal of the boils. If furuncle, then antibiotics is required and there isn't any quick remedy.
