What Causes Painful Lump On Eyebrow?
Question: I have a large, oblong, hard bump on my eyebrow. It starts in my eyebrow and works it's way down to my eyelid (about a 1/4 of an inch long). It's very painful; if I raise my eyebrows, it hurts. I don't notice a discoloration of skin, nor does it have a "head" on it. There doesn't appear to be any infected hair follicles. I'm looking for answers, please help me!
Brief Answer:
It looks like Sebaceous cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description, it looks like a Sebaceous cyst.
It becomes painful, when it gets infected.
Please consult an Eye specialist /General surgeon and get examined clinically.
If it is a sebaceous cyst, it has to be removed surgically
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
If possible, please post the image of the lesion.
Wish you good health.
