What Causes Painful Lumps On The Wrist And Numbness In The Finger?

Please give additional information and post clear photographs.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit very short.
To recapitulate: Female/65 - visited a Doctor - 2 lumps on right wrist - numbness of the thumb - thinks it is on artery - very painful ...
This is very short history, please provide additional information.
- Post clear and focused photographs as they can help for on-the-spot diagnosis.
- Since when are the lumps present?
- Where exactly are the lumps?
- Is the skin over it red and inflamed or normal looking?
- What is the size and shape?
As per the short history you have provided, these looks to be infected lumps as they are extremely painful and involvement of the nerve in the inflammation might have been causing the numbness of the thumb.
If infective, you need to take prescription based antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medication. If on the verge of an abscess a small incision might help the best.
Awaiting for your answers and Photographs.
