Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had been experiencing lately.
Based on the history you have shared, it seems that have been through alot and initial options doesn't seem to be working. These symptoms and pains can be due to fibromyalgia too but nerve issues can surely be responsible as are nerve compression or pressure symptoms like in carpal tunnel. EMG and NCS can even be normal at start of such compressions if significant nerve structure isn't compressed and is still transmitting the signals properly. Some tingling may be starting problem and may not be detected on NCS.
Old EMG when was done may have been when the problem had been graver than now. Such fluctuations may occur over time and depends upon extent of nerve compression. I would suggest to also get levels of B12, folic acid and D3 as their defficiencies can also cause such symptoms.
If OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen doesn't work more potent analgesics like tramadol and nerve pain suppressants like gaba pentins or duloxetine can be given. Local application of capciacin gels or diclofenac gels can help. If these doesn't work, a consultation with a pain management specialist and a physiotherapist revew for rotator cuff and carpal tunnel excercises can be done.
For PTSD and other related symptoms, a psychiatrist and a motivational psychologists review for medical and group therapy can be sought.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
