What Causes Painful Red Mark On Breast After Intercourse?

Question: I am 31 year old and my wife is 28 year old . Last week we had sex and after that she develop a reddish mark on the breast alongwith very slight pain. The follwing night i avoided pressing her breasts and pain disapperared. After 3 Days , the mark has become yellow now . there is no pain please suggest.

Dear member,

Thanks for writing.

The red mark which was present earlier is a bruise. A mild bruise occurs due to minor trauma like nudging when small blood vessels rupture under skin.

Over few days it will change colour to yellow or yellowish green before fading away.

I don't think it's a cause for concern.

Please consider further treatment with a doctor if there is a mass felt or the bruise doesn't resolve.
