Question: I have an area above my left collarbone which is swollen, pain sometimes radiates down my breast to my arm pit. Have had left part of my thyroid removed in 2011.

I have studied your case

Swelling near collar bone can be due to enlarged lymph node.
Enlarged lymph node in neck is common condition and needs proper evaluation.

Common reason for enlarged lymph node is usually infection, so we can start antibiotic regime consulting your treating doctor and look for results.
You may need to investigate in form of complete blood count, ESR, CRP.

If your blood tests are normal then you may need to do MRI spine.
Swelling without pain and redness can be due to your previous thyroid operation.
So I will advise you to consult a specialist and do required investigation.
