Hi and welcome.
I dont think there is a fracture so at this point xrays is not necessary. You should apply ice compresses, rest, keep leg elevated and take nonsteroid painkillers. It should improve in next 12-24 hours. If not, then you should do xrays to see if none was damaged. Wish you good health. Regards

My leg has turned black and blue, the bump is still there. It was swollen yesterday but it has gone down and is not so painful, is there any chance of blood clot?

Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Blood clot would manifest with swollen whole calf and upper leg, which would be but purpish and calf would be painful. in your age, vein clot is possible, especially if you didn't walk in last few days. So you should do xrays and Doppler ultrasound if symptoms are present.
