What Causes Painful Swelling In Foot Post Triple Arthrodesis?
I want to know little detail of the illness
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. Though some amount of pain and swelling is common but immediate post op lot of swelling and severe pain is warning sign and it is possible that your cast is very tight. Taking pain killers is not right and you must see your doctor as soon as possible. Your case needs to be released if it is tight. Following are dangerous sign.
1.You are not able to move your toes.
2.There is bluishness in toes or there is numbness in toes.
3.Severe pain specially when some one moves your toes.
Till you go to doctor try to keep your foot on two or three pillow to decrease swelling. Tablet Brufen can be taken for pain, But I would again advised you to go to ER as soon as possible specially if above mentioned symptoms are present.
thanks
Then you can take Brufen or tramadol
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If your plaster is removed yesterday then some amount of stiffness is common as joints were not moved for so many weeks. I think you can take Brufen or tramadol as pain killers wirh minimum side effects.
You can also try hot water fomentation and volini gel. Your stiffness and pain will improve with in few days.
thanks
