I am 31 yrs old man and am experiencing severe pain n swelling in the rectum from the past week. I have varicose veins also. Could it be because of varicose veins?
May be thrombosed pile or an abscess
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Read and understood that you have pain and swelling in the rectum on right side for the past 1 week, and also have varicose veins.
The varicose veins in the rectum and anal canal are called piles or hemorrhoids.
The causes of pain and swelling may be:
Thrombosed enlarged pile.
Small abscess.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get an examination done by a General Surgeon to get the perfect diagnosis and a plan for treatment.
Along with the ointment and sitz bath you may need an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines with painkiller property and laxative too.
Get a proper diagnosis.
I hope this answer helps you to get an early diagnosis (already 7 days passed) and proper treatment, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
I had been given Anovate cream for internal application and sitcom tablet before breakfast.
Are these medicines ok ir should i take sum other medicine. Pls recommend a good painkiller, i had taken advil today for the pain.
I am also taking testosterone injections once a month from the past two months bcoz i hav a history of low testosterone level(arnd 225).

as explained.

Thanks for your feedback.
It is fine to continue the treatment your are taking; you can continue Advil three times a day after food and also take PPI like Omeprazole to avoid acidity.
Sitz bath helps relieve congestion.
Continue testosterone, I hope this will not cause any problems.
I hope you have got yourself checked by a General Surgeon.
