What Causes Painful Swelling Of Foot?

Question : My son is 23 years old and has been having a problem with is foot swelling. He works in Shipping and Receiving sometimes and it seems to swell when it hot out and on his feet. When he is sitting at his job it seems it does not swell. When it first occurred the swelling went up his leg to his knee and the tendon there was sort of painful.

Thanks for using our service and I understand your concern about your son. You referred that his swelling is mostly when is hot and that happens because the blood vessels gets wider when is hot and contracts or get smaller in the cold.Try to move the legs while sitting to avoid swelling and stands every 2-3 hours to improve the circulation.
