What Causes Painful Tingling Feeling On Left Arm And Bronchial Allergic Reactions?
I started having pain, shock, tingling on my left arm after i recovered from an infection which caused bronchial allergic reactions. The bronchail allergic reactions are over now but i have had the tingling, shock and pain for some months now. The tingling pain and shock has reduced and i am hopeful it fades away as soon as possible. Now i feel my muscles twitching at intervals. Do i need to worry about all this?
Probably nerve involvement too.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand understand your concerns.
First, this is not a condition that needs more worrying than necessary.
In my opinion, if the infection was viral one, it may affect nerves too, brachial plexus in your case.
There's need for a nerve conduction study ( EMG) in order to evaluate better this possibility of your symptoms.
A drug that helps in improving your symptoms is Gabapentin.
In my opinion, you should use it for about two months.
Since it is a prescription drug, this should be discussed with your primary care Doctor.
Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions or clarifications.
Wishing you good health.
