Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that this is quite a normal finding in tall and elegant persons.

There are also some clinical conditions that can lead to this clinical scenario:

1- chronic anemia
2- thyroid dysfunction
3- electrolytes imbalances
4- abdominal aorta aneurysm
5- anxiety.

If the problem persists, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- an abdominal ultrasound
- some blood lab tests (complete blood count, blood electrolytes, thyroid hormone levels).

If all the above tests result normal, you have nothing to worry about!

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
