Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

Heart palpitations are a feeling in your chest or neck that are felt as your heart is beating too hard or too fast or feeling of skipping a beat, so called fluttering. It is usually painless and isnt indicating any disorder, but may be sign of anxiety, excessive coffeine, alcohol, after exercise or some medications. In some cases it can be sign of heart disease especially if this is painful, then heart ischemia or arrithmia may be considered. Wish you good health. Regards
