I am sorry to hear that you had a problem with your vision. For 1 minute you had partial loss of vision. This maybe caused by what we call a ophthalmological migraine without headache. If your vision had a bright light that obscured your vision started small and then enlarged and vanaished that would be a Ophthalmological migraine. This is caused by a spasms of the arteries to the retina and mild ischemia. This may or may not be followed by a headache.
It could also be a TIA or a ministroke. If your vision just all of sudden changed then you may have had a TIA. This could be a harbinger to strokes later.
In either case I would recommend that you see your medical provider to get additional testing.
