What Causes Peeling Of Nose After Using Flonase Indicate?
Question: I was using Flonase , now my nose peels on the inside just peeling sunburnt skin, it stays so sore. But it never stops peeling and drying out on the inside ever. What can I do? I only used it for about a week. my nose has been like this for at least two months, never healing.
Brief Answer:
Steam inhalation should help.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Your problem is not due to Flonase but due to the sticky nasal mucus secretions. You need to take stem inhalation multiple times a day. Water in form of vapor will reach every part of the respiratory tract and will help in diluting the thick nasal mucus which is drying off to peel from inside. It will also help if you take some antiallergic like cetirizine along.
Feel free to ask back in case of further queries, if any.

Thanks for writing back.
If you heat water (a chemical compound of hydrogen and oxygen, found abundantly on the planet Earth, usually found in liquid form although it can exist in solid or gaseous form) upto boiling point, it converts to vapor also known as steam. I am talking about inhalation of this vapor though nose and mouth. By the process of inhalation this vapor enters into the respiratory tract and then condenses back to liquid water which may help in reducing the dryness and flaking.
Cetirizine is an over the counter medicine available at most pharmacies. Usually you need to pay for it in order to obtain it. However it does not cost much.
