What Causes Peeling Of Penis Foreskin?
Question: sir, the head of penis and the inside skin part that is skin inside the foreskin of penis is peeling and as it completely gets peeled the area seems red. can I use four derm cream into it I mean can I use the cream inside the foreskin to treat or will have to do something else please help.

This condition is called balanoposthitis. Can occur after unprotected sex or can occur on its own without any obvious cause.
Please let me know how it occurred?
The treatment is usually very simple.
First of all get your blood sugar checked.
Clean the area with plenty of plain water, do NOT use soap. Wipe it dry with soft pure cotton cloth like handkerchief or so. Do NOT apply fourderm ointment ( it is not meant for this area and disease). You can apply liquid povidone iodine and let it dry. This will help kill the bacteria.
You need a course of antibiotic and metronidazole. Since these are prescription medicines, you have to consult a Doctor to get a prescription.
This will heal nicely, Do not worry.
If you have a spouse ( wife) or a sex partner, she also needs to take the same medicines for 5 days. No masturbation or sex till you get cured.

I guess this is due to unprotected sex as the symptoms occured after I had sex last time. sir please recommend and give names of medicines from some good companies like mankind or ranbaxy so that I can get them in my area also. and if you will give me the names of two medicines of same type from different companies instead of one name then it will be the best as if one will not be available then I can go with the other one.
