What Causes Pelvic And Back Pain During 9th Week Of Pregnancy?

Question: Hi doctor. Basically I had bleeding on Saturday I am 9 weeks + pregnant and I had a slight red line then on Sunday it didn't look like blood from inside it looked like it was from a cut or sore. Yesterday I had pelvic lower back and hip pains. But Alhamdullilah today there's nothing. No pain what so ever. After reading online forums I think the pain is normal as the uterus is growing. But I don't have any bleeding or nothing today Alhamdullilah. Is it normal? And what sleeping positions must I avoid? I also got a HCG test done yesterday just to see if everything is normal
Brief Answer:
This is normal. Nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns about bleeding.
Following is my reply:
1) This slight bleeding ( spotting) you have described is due to growing fetus.
2) I dont see any reason to panic. This is normal and is unlikely to repeat.
3) Avoid excessive physical activity. Take rest.
4) As of now you can sleep in any position you like.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Reduced serum beta hCG blood levels
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thyroid levels are fine but serum beat hCG blood level is very low.
Please get an ultrasound scan immediately. I want to see wellbeing of fetus. If fetus is good on ultrasound scan, These blood levels could be wrong.
