What Causes Pelvic Pain, Headache, Lightheadedness And Irregular Menstruation?
Question: Is it normal to experience various pelvic pains ( moderate, sharp, left ovary, right ovary, middle of pelvis and etc) every day, several times a day? In addition, I started having headaches and have almost never had any in the past. In addition, I started feeling light headed , several times a day. All these symptoms started recently .
I am 34, have Hashimoto, taking supplements and vitamin D for that. Had transvaginal ultrasound ( done on day 21 of cycle) because of painful, irregular periods and a pain in left ovary. It showed a 2 cm uterine polyp , 1.5 ovarian cyst and free fluid in uterus . I have a hysteroscopy scheduled in July but am going out of the country and am worried about the symptoms mentioned above
Thank you !.

Brief Answer:
Antibiotics needed
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
No dear, it is not at all normal as uterine polyp causes symptoms only around periods and off an on once in a while.
Ovarian cyst of size 15 mm is normal as the scan was done on day 21 so it is most likely the corpus luteum.
In my opinion you need to take an antibiotic course for seven days because according to your description it seems like pelvic infection and inflammatory problem.
Visit a gynecologist and get yourself examined once.
Take care

Thank you so much for your answer Dr. XXXXXXX I had my pap exam in April and my doctor told there everything was normal and there was no sign of infection . Is there anything else that may cause my symptoms?
Brief Answer:
Infection or constipation
Detailed Answer:
Sorry for the delay in response as I was stuck in some emergency.
Inflammation in pelvis seems to be the only plausible explanation for this type of presentation which can be because of infection most likely.
Other thing can be chronic constipation which has lead to localized inflammation.
Both of these will respond to antibiotics and pain killers taken on regular basis for 5 days at least.
