What Causes Penile Bleeding And Painful Testicles Post Penile Injury?
Question: My boyfriend experienced traumatic injury to the penis during sex. I was in the female dominant position and his penis hit hard against me lots of bleeding went to the ER they said no penile fracture but he continues to experience bleeding at night and has developed pain in the testicles he did start antibiotics. What could be going on regarding the night bleeding?

First he should avoid sexual intercourse and masturbation till symptoms pass. In most cases this is self limiting and no consequences will happen. However,he should do testicle and prostate ultrasound and urine culture to rule out prostate and testicle disorders not related to injury.

attempted a urologist appointment no one available for a week or more. the er dictor did a physical exam and a urinalysis thann sent home told to take antibiotics. still concerned re the bleeding at night why dies this occur and was enough of an exam done in the er? also does thus injury pose any long term problems?
Also is swimming in a pool hot tub and ocean ok?

No permanent consequances will happen. It is advisbale to avoid swimming till antibiotic therapy is over.
Some more specific tests cant be done in ER but if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks he should do ultrasound of prostate and cystoscopy.
