You are right in saying that steroids have side effect but there is good possibility off working for them. Often I use prednisolone for a period of two week and than wean it slowly over a period of 608 weeks. The available mode of ingestion is tablet form.

I do not thin anybody can guarantee about the effectiveness of steroids but I have seen good results with them despite the short term use.

Regarding acne laser yes this is another mode of treatment and should be discussed with your doctor. This is important to say that acne laser is quite effective with minimum side effects.

The sexual side effects are very common with use of Orotane and it is possible that you are having dry vagina because of use of oratane. In addition the presence of stress due to persistent acne can contribute toward vaginal dryness.

Fortunately the side effect is reversible on discontinuation of medication and it is possible that you will be normal after discontinuation of oratane.

For the time being you are requested to use KY jelly as lubricant.
