Most probably pain is due to ovulation
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for replying back with the required details.
Since your Last menstrual period was on 5th XXXXXXX 16 so it is quite possible that this is the ovulation time (12-16th day of menstrual cycle). Pain in the suprapubic area can occur during this time as the egg is getting released from the ovary during which a very minute amount of blood is released from the ovary which can cause irritation of the abdomen.
It is advisable to consult a physician for analgesics like :
1. Ibuprofen (200mg) mild dose thrice a day - ibuprofen 200mg is available over the counter but higher strength needs prescription.
If the pain aggravates or persists more than 1 day then consult a gynaecologist to rule out other causes of pelvic pain for which an ultrasound scan of the abdomen and pelvis may be helpful.
Hope your query was answered.
