Hello XXXXXXX
Given that you were in XXXXXXX and are now having fevers, headaches, and nausea, you need to go in for evaluation for tropical illness. I don't want to frighten you, but this could be a mild case of malaria. You should see a doctor as soon as possible. The doctor should get a complete blood count (CBC) with differential (which shows which white blood cells are high or low), and also test for malaria. An RTD can check for malaria fairly quickly. In addition, it is good to check for different forms of malaria - both P. vivax and P. falciparum - by microscopic blood studies (the blood should be sent to the lab for pathology report). In addition, a liver panel that includes bilirubin level would be a good idea. IF it is malaria, it is best to know which of the microorganisms it is being caused by as then the most appropriate/effective medicine can be used to treat it.
Well, I've just said a lot about malaria, but it can be other infectious causes too. Regardless, the thing to do now is to go in to be seen. I see that you live in LA. If possible, consider going to a larger medical center, such as a university hospital, where they have infectious disease physicians that are versed in tropical medicine.
I will add one more thing. Here is a chart from the CDC which shows different types of travel related illnesses based on region, and number of days since possible exposure.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know how you are doing after you go in to be evaluated.
