What Causes Persistent Cough Along With Cold Sweats?
Question: I was sick with a high fever and cough about two months ago and me never got better. Now I am experiencing random sweats while sitting in airconditioning ,occasional cough throughout the day with black mucus, lightheadedness, feels like my heart is pumping double time, my resent period was 2 weeks late for no reason . I am a non smoker.

So we need to rule out lung infection like tuberculosis and pneumonia.
Bronchitis can also cause these symptoms.
So Consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. Chest x ray
3. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection.
PFT is needed to rule out bronchitis.

1. Do you have weight loss?
2. Do you feel shortness of breath?
