Question: Hi, My daughter is suffering from persistent cough. She is coughing since morning.
I am giving her allegera & Brozeet but it seems it is a dry cough. Do you think it will be better to change the medication to Maxtra or relent along with some antibiotic ( Taxim-o or Azithormycin). please advise.

Brief Answer:
Better to change the medication

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern; and it suggests that most probably your daughter may be suffering from the acute pharyngitis.

In this condition, I would like to suggest that you may change the medication to Maxtra along with some antibiotic most preferably Azithromycin.

I would also suggest that better to avoid cold drinks, cold water and ice cream if she has.

Please consult the ENT specialist for better diagnosis and for prescription.
