What Causes Persistent Fatigue With Occasional Lightheadedness And Excessive Sweating?

default
Posted on Fri, 23 Sep 2016
Question: I'm feeling tired all of the time and light headed occasionally , I begin to sweat easily and I also get shortness of breath and it feels like I just had an extreme workout when I exert very little effort such as a brisk walk pace or climbing stairs, or even mowing the lawn with a walk behind push type lawn mower.
These symptoms began about 1 week after having unprotected sex with a female, both oral and vaginal.
I also recall this female saying that she gets tried easily. Maybe I'm paranoid but I'm beginning to think that I contracted something from this female

Brief Answer:
Symptoms unrelated to sexual encounter

Detailed Answer:
Good morning. Thank you for your question.

You are correct in being concerned about having unprotected sex with a partner if you are unsure of their own background or history. However, the similarity of her symptoms to yours is in no related to any known sexually transmitted disease type of infection. Therefore, you may relax along those lines.

Having said that if you have any symptoms suggestive of a urinary tract infection problem such as burning, itching, or abnormal appearing secretions from the penis or in the mouth then, I recommend you see your doctor immediately for a full checkup and analysis. Consider protected sexual encounters in the future with anybody whose history is unknown or uncertain.

In terms of discovering the underlying cause to YOUR symptoms you should check with your doctor regarding your own health status and if it's been at least a year since your last full and complete physical checkup then, one would be in order. Your symptoms merit a functional status check mainly of the cardiopulmonary and cardiovascular systems. Metabolic functions of your thyroid, adrenal, and GI systems would also be reasonable things to look at when working up these symptoms. An EKG or even echocardiogram along with screening blood work can complement the physical examination per your physician's discretion.

If I've adequately addressed your concerns could you do me a huge favor by CLOSING THE QUERY and be sure to include some fine words of feedback along with a 5 STAR rating to our encounter if you feel my suggestions have helped? Again, many thanks for posing your question.
