Question: Having waves of severe head pain. Nothing relieves. Debilitating. Under and behind right ear. Don't know what to do. Tylenol has not helped.

Severe short lasting lancinating pain can be due to trigeminal neuralgia, cluster headache or trigeminal autonomic cephalgias.
You should get examined by a neurologist.
Lamotrigine, lacosamide, carbamazepine can be used.
