What Causes Persistent Heart Palpitations?
Question: Hello again, I have an appointment for a new neurologist just to review my last MRI's and hopefully he will order a new MRI with the specific tests you suggested.
My new primary doctor, recommended this doctor.
I am now getting this persistent throbbing, pulsating feeling on that left side that I was not really feeling before and it is daily. It might go away for hours and then comes back. taking pain medication doesn't stop it. It is not painful just very noticeable.
Any ideas considering everything else I already told you that it might be?
Also I took some blood work that I never took before with the new primary and a couple new things came up. She said that one of the test came back positive for Lupus and she is now orfering the additional blood tests needed to get a better idea if that is something else that I have.
he also said my B12 is 210 and extremely low wna can be a symptom of nuerologial issues.
In addition another test came back that I am prone to cardiovascular disease which runs in my family. I am seeing a neurologist for that.
I also have to go gluten free.
She is doing some additional tests, but I am very happy with everything that she is doing.
Please let me know your thoughts. I am going to demand another MRI. These doctors here are reluctant for insurance purposes to order expensive testing. I'm going to have to be very demanding about it.

About Lupus related tests resulting positive, Lupus is an autoimmune disease, MS is too, so these tests could resulted false positive.
Skin symptoms are a prominent sign of Lupus, besides other organs functions impairment, so, it is very unlikely in your case.
Additional specific tests about Lupus such biopsy of kidney are needed if strong doubts.
Cardiac work up and follow up are necessary in your case, since there is inheritance to cardiovascular diseases.
I still think that a new targeted MRI will give valuable information about your condition, so, I suggest you to insist about having it done.
Please let me know the new tests results and the Cardiologist opinion.
Regarding to the evaluation by the new Neurologist, I think you should met him after the new MRI.
